Long Beach, CA Ribbon Cutting ceremony for new solar project at the Jewish Federation/Alpert JCC in Long Beach CA was performed at 1PM Sunday March 25th at the Federation 3801 E Willow Street, Long Beach CA. The Federation was recognizing its appreciation for Alacrity Energy’s vital role in every step in the planning, financing, and installation process, along with the Long Beach Mayor’s support at last year’s gala dinner which helped raise the necessary funds for the installation. Now the solar array system is complete and represents one of the largest and most advanced solar installations in the city of Long Beach (496kw) with over 1,700 solar panels providing amount of electrical energy equivalent to nearly 100 CA homes. The installation of the solar array was enhanced with six EV charging stations. The solar structures are prominently displayed facing the highly traveled Willow Street demonstrating the Federation’s ongoing sustainability efforts. “Alacrity Energy engaged multiple committees (over a 2 year+ time-frame) to design an optimize location and size of the solar installation, propose and evaluate funding sources, vetted Federation’s potential installers. Co-chaired the successful solar fundraising drive. Interacted directly with the main donor ($1,000,000+) and his legal & accounting teams to bring the project to fruition. Facilitated the drafting of five separate contractual agreements between the Federation/donor (PPA), donor/installer, and intra-Federation agencies.” Quote from: MRS. DEBRA GOLDFARB, CEO LONG BEACH JEWISH FEDERATION Yitzy Geisinsky, president of Alacrity Energy LLC remarked: “This installation substantially contributes to improvement of our precious clean environment and we were very happy to provide a truly turn-key service from the initial financial modeling of the project to the ribbon cutting ceremony”.
